Martin Jones
Co-founder of HealthWell, Mr. Jones has over 20 years of experience developing health/fitness/wellness programs for corporate clients and individuals. He has provided consulting and personal training services to a variety of companies including Freidman Billings Ramsey, The Scowcroft Group, Time Warner, The Mills Corporation, Sunrise Assisted Living, AARP, Fairfax County Chamber of Commerce, The Washington Mystics, Wellsure Insurance and Wellpoint Insurance. At Freidman Billings Ramsey, Martin developed and led a 15-year corporate relationship that included facility design, equipment selection, and the establishment of exercise programs and protocol. In addition, he advised in the company's wellness setup and marketed the program to their staff.
As co-founder and co-owner of Active Duty Fitness for Women, Mr. Jones helped to create all aspects of the program. ADF is the only franchised boot camp program in the country. It is built on an exercise format that is designed to accommodate all fitness levels. He presently owns and operates two of the 12 sites that are located in the D.C. Metro area.
During his 17 years with One to One Fitness Centers, an elite personal training company with more than 800 loyal members with locations in Washington D.C., Maryland and Virginia, Mr. Jones's main responsibilities included hiring and training new trainers, increasing company market-share in the business community and creating new opportunities for growth. The company caters to the everyday business client and professional athletes.
Mr. Jones is a graduate of St. Andrews College in Laurinburg, North Carolina with a B.S. in Exercise Science and attended graduate school at Plattsburg St. University in Plattsburg, New York where he studied Sports Marketing. Personal affiliations:
